McConnell brings over two decades of experience introducing new technologies and solutions to the IT industry and a track record of success in scaling teams and transitioning businesses into high-growth mode. Mowery brings more than 15 years of experience in providing IT and data management solutions to federal government agencies.

Prior to InterOptic, McConnell was Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Optulink, where he developed technologies that optimize mobile voice and data for global wireless networks. Before Optulink, he was Vice President of Marketing and General Manager of a $300+ million division of Tellabs, where he introduced significant cost efficiency solutions for telecommunication service providers worldwide.
Mowery has a long track record of implementing optics solutions for Defense, Intelligence and Civilian Government Agencies. Most recently, he was Director of Federal Sales at TechTrend, where he focused on growing the company’s technology solutions practice. Before TechTrend, he was a Federal Account Executive at FishNet Security, where he worked with the Department of Defense to install information security solutions. Mowery has also worked as a Product and Security Operations Manager at Sprint.
