Adam Koopersmith joined New World Ventures in 2004. He focuses on companies that bring to market novel SaaS applications, as well as interactive marketing and health solutions.
In senior operating and business development roles at Sportvision, he helped the company grow from a business plan into eight figures in annual revenue. Today it is the leader in technology-based enhancements for live sports programming. Sportvision is a New World Ventures portfolio company.
Earlier, he worked at Berkshire Partners, a leading private equity investment firm with $11.5 billion of capital under management. He helped portfolio companies achieve strategic objectives, performed investment evaluations and closed transactions in business services, retail and manufacturing.
Previously, he worked as an investment banker for Alex Brown (now Deutsche Bank). He participated in diverse M&A and public equity transactions for mid-sized companies.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Kellogg School of Management.
